Last night we lost our little angel. We hadn't updated because everything was going great she was gaining weight, eating & everything else we wanted her to do. Then the day before yesterday she started to have a fever, so we took her to the hospital to get her checked out. They ran a bunch of test and then they let her come home that night because there were no outward signs of infection at the time. We are still waiting the results of the culture which showed a slight bacterial growth on Saturday afternoon.

The rest of Friday night and Saturday morning her fever stayed down. Around 2:00 PM on Saturday (yesterday) her fever started coming back up and she was really agitated. We took her back to the hospital around 8:00 PM since her fever got over the limit of what the doctors wanted. We checked her in and then walking to her room she stopped breathing in Maria's arms (she was where she loved to be). All the doctors tried really hard to revive her, they just wouldn't give up. Finally they just couldn't do anymore.

My little girl is truly among the angels now. No more surgeries, no more getting poked. She in God's hands now...
